Hi, I'm Laura. I’m a Midwife, Nurse, IBCLC Lactation Consultant and mother living in London.
As a Midwife, Nurse and IBCLC, I have dedicated my career to supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, feeding and early parenthood. My work has always been about helping mothers feel informed, confident and cared for during some of the most important moments of their lives. When I became a mother to my daughter Sofia, my professional experience became deeply personal. I experienced first-hand the joys, challenges and endless questions that come with motherhood, and it strengthened my passion for supporting families in a way that feels both expert and human.
Real Mama was born from that experience. A space where mothers can find trusted support, honest conversations and personalised care throughout their motherhood journey. Alongside my work as a Midwife and IBCLC, I am also a salsa teacher. Movement, music and community have always been a huge part of my life, which is why I created Baby Salsa — a joyful space where parents can connect, move and enjoy precious moments with their babies. Everything I offer, whether it's a breastfeeding consultation, an antenatal class, Baby Ear Piercing or a Baby Salsa session, is built around the same philosophy: To help mothers feel supported, empowered and never alone.
